Family dentistry

At Upton Dental & Implant Clinic, we put you first. From the warmest of welcomes to the most sophisticated equipment, we make sure you always enjoy the highest standard of care and comfort with us.

Upton Dental is a warm, friendly practice offering dependable service and value in everything we do – from general dentistry to dental implants, cosmetic dentistry, teeth whitening and invisible braces

Our popular and established dental practice offers high quality treatment to all. However, we’ve built our reputation on giving our patients much more than this. Our Clinical Director, Hennie van der Merwe, and our clinical team have created a practice with a uniquely gentle touch and a friendly welcome, courtesy, respect and personal attention for all our patients.

We want to bring quality dental care to as many people as we can, so we’ve kept our prices affordable. Upton Dental is here for both complex treatments such as dental implants as well as for your general dental needs. We understand that prevention is important to all, so our patients love our regular check-up and hygienist appointments. They also know that should they need it, they can choose effective, long lasting cosmetic treatments such as tooth whitening, tooth veneers or modern invisible braces amongst other contemporary solutions.

Come and have a look round our practice, and chat to one of our dentists. You’ll find we really do offer a very different service.  We currently have no availability for NHS adults at present, but please ask us about our Upton Dental Scheme which makes private dentistry more affordable.  We are happy to see under 18’s on the NHS.

What to expect while you’re with us, we’ll:

      • Ask you to fill in your details and a Health Questionnaire.
      • Take the time to get to know you a little, finding out what your aims and concerns may be and answering any questions you might have.
      • Carefully examine your teeth, gums and mouth. This will probably include taking a couple of small X-rays, particularly if you have had previous fillings and haven’t recently had X-rays.
      • Discuss with you what – if anything – needs to be done.
      • Take care of any temporary repairs that may be needed, or put a stop to any pain you may be suffering
      • Make sure you’re familiar with all your options and how much you’ll pay
